The Smile Train Craniofacial Center

The Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation Philippines, Inc. has been awarded by The Smile Train - The World’s Leading Cleft Charity - (www.smiletrain.org) a Special Grant for the establishment of another craniofacial center in Manila: The Smile Train Craniofacial Center. The World Craniofacial Foundation - (www.wcf.orgwww.worldcf.org) has provided the surgical instruments for the craniofacial center. It is situated across the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), at the second floor of Joshua Center, 1428 Taft Avenue, Manila.
The Smile Train Craniofacial Center will provide a multi-disciplinary care from birth to adulthood for cleft and craniofacial patients through its committed team of professionals in the fields of:
- craniofacial surgery
- oral and maxillofacial surgery
- plastic and reconstructive surgery
- pediatric care
- ear, nose and throat (ENT) or otorhinolaryngologic care
- dental care
- speech and language therapy
- audiologic management
- nursing care
- social services
Cleft surgeries will be done at the partner hospitals and in Our Lady of Peace Hospital in Parañaque City while craniofacial surgeries will be done at the Philippine General Hospital through its Pediatric Neurosurgical and Craniofacial Unit.
